This is the first entry of of our Saints' Alive Newsletter 2.0 which you will now get as the event happens rather than waiting until the end of the month. We just finished an amazing week of Vacation Bible School and wanted to hear from Kathy Hulin as to some of the highlights. Following these highlights are 2 videos that we've posted so that you may share in our kids and volunteers excitement.

Our theme for Vacation Bible School this year was Maker Fun Factory. Some of our activities involved being creators and builders to engage the imaginations that God has given us, and we had amazing Bible stories and songs each day to help us know of God's love and care for us as his children. One of our favorite Bible verses from the week is Romans 8:31 , "If God is for us, who can be against us?" We heard how important it is to talk with God every day and to trust in his plan for our lives.

God definitely answered prayers in bringing several new faces to our VBS this summer and we hope and pray to see many of these children and teens again in our activities in the coming year. We had three days of 78 people in attendance which is up from the past several years and the attendance was always 42 to 45 children and as many as 23 teens on a given day. As expressed during VBS, "Wow, God!!!"
