Fellowships and Ministries for our Women
It is so important for our moms to support one another through the challenges of parenting. From the moment that a child comes into the world through childhood, adolescence, and into adulthood, the moms and women of our parish get together to help encourage one another.
Women's Bible Study
This is a Bible study based on the adult app of The Gospel Project curriculum that our nursery, children, and teen teachers use on Sunday mornings with our students. The Bible study launched in January 2017 and we have a group of moms with young children and grade school children who gather Tuesday afternoons in the John Classroom from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Nursery staff of the church watch the children while the moms have time for the study and time to share. Led by Kathy Hulin.
Our ladies like to get together for a variety of various special events for study and discipleship, to support our parish ministries, and for fellowship opportunities in our community. Once a month on a Thursday evening from 5:20 - 6:20 p.m. we have a Ladies' Night Study that meets in Moses Hall. As we prepare for our annual Lessons and Carols, we gather to bake cookies and sweets. As opportunities arise to attend women's conferences, we take advantage of those. We also might enjoy a time of fellowship at a painting party. All these and more are good times to laugh, share, grow, and be together!
Meals for Mothers
Sharing God’s love for mothers of newborns, this is a week of meals lovingly prepared & delivered. When a family brings their newborn home from the hospital, All Saints' mothers provide the family with warm dinners. Women enjoy supporting and serving new mothers during their first few weeks of getting settled at home.
