Family Ministries

chchoirmarch 18

The All Saints’ Children’s Choir is for children in kindergarten through the 5th grades. The children’s choir rehearses every Wednesday evening as part of the Kids' Club educational programming from 6:40 until 7:15 p.m. Gina Wegman, a professional music educator, is the choir director. From time to time throughout the academic season, the children are scheduled to sing for worship services. Some times it is with the Cherub Choir children from the nursery, and other times it is for our older children in 2nd through 5th grades to sing for special service opportunities. Contact Rev. Kathy Hulin to learn more.

Sundays

Children’s Church 8:50 & 10:50

During the services, children K - 3rd grade are welcome to attend Children’s Church in the Children’s Chapel located in the children’s area. After a time of fellowship and play, those in attendance are led through a child's service that is intended to resemble the adult service. The service includes music, prayer, and learning about Christ and Christian faith through the chosen Gospel reading of the week.

*4th and 5th grade students are encouraged to attend and participate in the worship service with their parents, but are welcome to attend Children's Church!

Sunday School 10:00-10:40

Sunday School classes are offered to all children K - 5th grade. Classes are held in the children's area and are grouped by grade level.

From bringing dry bones to life and saving a prophet swallowed by a fish in the Old Testament to the raising of a man dead and buried in the New Testament, we see God as a God of resurrection. This Easter series culminates with the greatest resurrection of all—Jesus!

Wednesdays

Kids’ Club meets each Wednesday evening August through June from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. We get together to enjoy games, music, snacks, and fun as we venture together through a thematic Bible study. This semester, we will be learning all about The Fruits of the Spirit (Gal 5:22-23 ). Come and join us!

*Extended care and guided activities are offered for children whose parents or caregivers are attending Wednesday evening Parish Academy classes between 7:30-8:30 p.m.

*In the late spring and early summer we take advantage of our close proximity to the Lake Mirror Complex and Barnett Family Park to enjoy group games outdoors. We also have theme nights and outreach ministry projects to add to the fun!

Special Annual Activities

In addition to the Sunday and Wednesday programs, throughout the year there are a variety of special activities in which children and their parents can participate. We are a family-focused church and we encourage you to come and visit us to discover ways you can learn, grow, and love Christ together!

Our workers and volunteers are Christians who minister to children by providing a safe, Christ-centered environment and teaching God’s word. Our team is CPR trained and all employees must pass a backgroound check. Workers and volunteers undergo the Safeguarding God’s Children course and are mindful of safety measures for all our children.
