FirstHolyCFirst Holy Communion For Children

All Saints honors this important time when our children first receives the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. The First Holy Communion classes are open to 2nd and 3rd grades youth who are baptized members of All Saints’.

The classes begin each fall on the Sunday after Labor Day and continue for, generally, 8 weeks (depending on the church calendar). Contact our youth minister as early as possible the Summer before the class in which you wish to enroll your child.

Our Orlando Based Christian Education Ministry

ICS, located in Orlando, offers scripture and religion courses; as well as, special workshops. Scriptural courses include Old and New Testaments. Religion courses include church history, liturgy, the Book Common Prayer, personal spirituality, the life of prayer, evangelism, and ethics. Special workshops are designed for Christian Education to strengthen and enhance lay and ordained ministry. Courses of study also prepare Lay Eucharistic Ministers, Lay Eucharistic Visitors, Lay Preachers, and Lay Catechists for licensure.

Courses are varied, interesting, challenging and inspiring. The course material is designed so courses are presented one course at a time; most courses can be completed on one Saturday. The one-day format makes it possible for the student to take for credit, or to audit, any course in any sequence.

Book Club

The All Saints’ Book Club is the fellowship portion of the Parish Academy adult education ministry.

Our book club meets quarterly and features a presentation by one of our adult teachers. Meetings are 10:30 am - followed by lunch at noon and are held at the Parish Hall.

The book store can order the books you need to participate. However, you don't have to read the book to attend.

Just come for the fellowship and fun!

Bring a friend!
