There are three different types of offerings for the women of our church this fall on Thursday evenings. We have fellowship opportunities, a Bible study option, and a women's book study group.
If you enjoy food and fellowship, we had a very successful Publix Aprons outing in August and another one will take place on October 5th from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Lake Miriam Publix. We also will have a baking night with Chef Bruce on November 30th to have fun during the festive time of year while preparing food for our annual Lessons & Carols reception.
Once a month Kathy Hulin leads a Bible study from 5:20-6:20 p.m. and the time together always proves to be life affirming for our study of scripture as women. The series for this fall is a look at women in the New Testament. The study will meet on 9/21, 10/19, and 11/16.
New this fall is a 6-week book study for any women who would like to join in reading at home and coming together for the discussions. The book is Unglued: Making Wise Choices in the Midst of Raw Emotions by Lysa TerKeurst. Meetings will take place on 9/7, 9/14, 9/28, 10/12, 10/26, 11/2, and 11/9.
