It was a beautiful day for our annual Palm Sunday Procession this year! Children, teens, parents, and adults of all ages enjoyed being together around the lake at Lake Mirror, across the street from our church. We began at a meeting point across the way and our adult choir with guest trumpeter helped to launch our liturgy which included a sung setting of Hosanna, prayers, and a scripture reading from the Gospel of Matthew. We enjoy receiving a red balloon because of the festive nature of the celebration and most everyone wore red because it is the liturgical color for Palm Sunday.

We proclaimed, "Blessed is the King who comes in the Name of the Lord!" as we slowly made our way around the lake in procession. "Thanks be to God!"
