Understanding Our Six Worship Experiences
Wednesday 12:10 p.m. – (No Music) The focus of this service is healing. Those in need of prayers and anointing for healing are invited to receive both. A bible study precedes this service and lunch follows this service September – May.
Wednesday 6:00 p.m. – (No music) The focus of this service is to meet the need of parents waiting for their children in youth activities, those needing a midweek service, and those who desire a service before attending their Wednesday classes at 7:00 p.m. Dinner precedes this service September – May.
Saturday 4:00 p.m. – (Music) The focus of this service is to meet the needs of those who have to work on Sundays, those with medical needs, and those travelling who need a service later in the day. Ron Fenn is the organist.
Sunday 7:30 a.m. – (Music) The focus of this service is to meet the needs of those who rise early, those who have to work later on Sunday, and those going on an outing following the service.
Sunday 8:50 a.m. – (Music/Song Leaders) The focus of this service is to meet the needs of those who desire worship with less ceremonial, a broad range of music style, and worship that finishes earlier to meet family and personal needs. In particular, the Celebration Hymnal is used to meet the needs of those making a transition into the Episcopal church and those who like to sing old hymns from their Christian backgrounds. Our children and youth are more apt to sing at this service. One may also have breakfast before or after this service. Sunday School follows this service. Kevin Townsend is the Music Director and pianist for this service. Martha Bunday is the organist.
Sunday 10:50 a.m. – (Music/Choir) The focus of this service is to meet the needs of those wanting to attend church later in the morning, who desire music oriented to the Episcopal Hymnal only, sung music settings, sung Psalm, and more ceremonial worship. Sunday School and breakfast are provided before this service. Larry Sledge is the Music Director for this service. Martha Bunday is the organist.
