On April 22 from 8:30 - noon at Westside Park, All Saints' had 27 people (most are shown here) show up for a community outreach program hosted by the Lakeland Police department. Our members were able to work, participate, and enjoy an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of many less fortunate in the city of Lakeland. Our next big event will be held on September 23 so stay tuned for more details.
Members of our Outreach Committee: The Rev. Dr. Reid Hensarling, The Rev. Bob Johnson, Robert Scarr, Jeff Cox, Ed Headington, and David Fernandez.
All Saints' has been in the process of assembling a new and diverse team of outreach members to address the huge need for missions outreach in our community. Robert Scarr is heading this new team which has been named Beacon for Christ! This is All Saints' newest ministry and you should be hearing much more about this exciting program in the fall. This unique team of twelve people will help to develop a cohesive, automated and streamlined way for our church to implement missions work and stay accountable to our Lord's wishes in consideration for an ever changing culture. Here is a picture of our team members. Please lift them up in your prayers as this is a way for our community to see Jesus in the flesh, as these folks plan, arrange, and assist in what is so greatly needed in our community. It is important to our vitality to make a majority of our giving to a wider range of charities (see list below). These twelve will facilitate All Saints' in her role of missions not only in the fiancial component of assitsting, but also in volunteering of time and human ineraction.

All Saints' Episcopal Church provides resources to individuals and Christian institutions in need or those that provide necessary services to those in need. These organizations must do all that is within their means to encourage and enhance the charitable atmosphere surrounding our community.
We make prayerful decisions regarding the funding of ministries and special needs in the All Saints' family, the United States, and foreign missions. In order of priority, we allocate church resources to:
- Emergency needs of our parish family
- Lakeland area Christian ministries
- Needs of the less fortunate in our community
- Efforts to renew & revitalize downtown Lakeland
- Christian relief efforts associated with natural relief disasters
- Support of Christian seminaries
