All Saints' Children's Ministry

The Children's Ministry focuses on children from age 5 through the fifth grade.

It is our mission to provide a loving and enriching experience of God's word for each child in order to start them on a life long path of Christian learning, love and service.

Sundays

Worship

Children’s Church - During the 8:50 a.m. and the 10:50 a.m. services, children from age 5 through third grade are welcome to attend Children’s Church in the Children’s Chapel in the children’s area. The children have free play time, Bible-related activity sheets, followed by group devotionals which include singing and a Bible lesson. They are escorted into the nave to sit with their parents during the passing of the peace.

Fourth and Fifth grade students are encouraged to attend and participate in the worship service with their parents.

Sunday School

At 10:00 a.m. there are Sunday School classes for all children. These classes end at 10:40 a.m. Classes are grouped by grade levels. Kindergarten (and mature 5-year-olds) and first graders are together. Second and third graders are together. Fourth and fifth graders are together.

Wednesdays

6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Kids’ Club (age 5 through 3rd graders) and God Squad (4th/5th graders) meet each Wednesday evening mid-August through mid-June. These are discipleship groups where Bible-based lessons are presented and we value being one big family in Christ.

6:00 – 7:00 p.m. – Children’s Choir and musical activities for all kindergarten through 5th grade students will take place during the Kids' Club and God Squad activity hour. There are small group rotations over the course of the hour. A specified time for Children's Choir for 2nd through 5th graders will take place as part of the small group rotations. Directed by Kathy Hulin, children prepare music to sing at worship September through May. Rehearsals begin in August and children can join at any time during the year. See the Children's Choir page for more information.

7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Extended care for children whose parents or caregivers are attending Wednesday evening Parish Academy classes. An evening snack is provided during this time. We take advantage of our close proximity of the Lake Mirror Complex and Barnett Family Park to enjoy group games outdoors. We also have theme nights to add to the fun!
