Fr. Reid, Rev. Kathy, and the All Saints’ Vergers are pleased to announce that Henry Spake will be entering into Youth Verger training.  He will be installed as a Verger-in-Training on March 17 at the 8:50 and 10:50 services. 

Henry is a junior at Lakeland Christian High School where he plays football, is a member of Fellowship for Christian Athletes, and manages the varsity basketball team.  As a Master Acolyte he has served in every position in his six years of service.  He’s active in youth group at All Saints’ and participates in other activities such as Soul in the City, Vacation Bible School, and N. Lake Wire Outreach.

Henry will complete a series of study topics over the next several months: Altar Guild, Steward Ministry, administrative procedures, Lector Ministry, planning special services, Sacristan duties, and more.  Each month he will have a topic of focus and will work with one of our vergers to learn about it.  During this time he will also appear as a second verger in many of our regular services.
